Vacancy Description
This is a 2012 Games vacancy. The Arrivals and Departures function is responsible for ensuring that some 50,000 accredited clients and their accompanied baggage for the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games have a smooth transfer from arrival to departure. This will involve their initial arrival at their points of entry into the Games to their accommodation and similarly for their smooth departure. The Port of Entry process is critical to the Games because it creates the first and last impression of London 2012. The Arrivals and Departures Coordinator will work with London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) departments and key agencies such as BAA, airlines, the UK Borders Agency and security organisations to develop and implement the Arrivals and Departures process.
