Vacancy Description
You must have extensive demonstrable experience gained within a similar role including experience of food preparation techniques, selection/grading of ingredients and cooking methods. Basic knife skills. High food presentation skills. Food safety skills. Excellent communication skills. Main duties: preparation of foods, as directed by the head chef, preparation of dishes to order during service to customers. Ensure correct presentation and portions are served as specified. Control of food stocks. To assist in the upkeep of the cleanliness of the kitchen. To help develop junior team members. Follow correct health and safety procedures to ensure welfare of both staff and customers. To provide a quality service and product to our customers meeting their expectations at all times.
